Pros:Â Easy to use, Quiet
Cons:Â poor quality, inner compartments-poor build
"the main reason i bought this was because my other appliances are hotpoint, so i thought it would be a good idea to have everythin the same.
unfortunately hotpoint have a very limited range of frost free freezers, so i had to buy this one, even though some of the reviews were not great.
first impression- its quite chunky- we left room for it under the counter, and it fits, width-wise, however it protrudes outwards, which is a bit unsightly- however i notice many appliances nowadays are on the large size.
PROS- its very quite, the door is changeable in case you want to turn it around.
frost free so hopefully will never need cleaning
CONS- the internal cupboards are very poorly built, i have to open and shut them cautiosly because i am afraid they will crack if i use too much force- this is difficult when you have kids co you need to keep an eye on them, and nag them not to slam the compartments.
also the internal space is small compared to non frost-free freezers, i think this has something to do with the larger motors that frost-free's need"
