"Bought this freezer to replace a 16 cubic foot chest freezer and don't know why I didn't to it earlier! It has a great 11 cu.ft. capacity and, although not as big as the chest freezer I can find everything so much more easily with falling into it. Nice touch to have the ice-cube trays on the drawers but made the mistake of overfilling on the first try and not being able to get the cubes out!!! Never hear it running, unlike the fridge/freezer I still have so 10 out of 10 for this."

"Our Freezer ceased to function on Friday and thanks to "Appliances on Line" we were up and running again by tea-time the following Monday. Unlike DANANED I found moving the door to open the opposite way was relatively simple and did it on my own in about 10 minutes."

"Needed a replacement freezer for in the garage..this one was a reasonable price and large storage capacity...
does exactly what is should, keep food frozen..only downside i would say is that sometimes the drawers jam a bit but you just have to be careful closing them and not ram them in....just me being heavy handed...
excellent product at a great price......"

"Of the upright freezers available, this seemed the best compromise between price, build quality and design. I would prefer that it had a temperature alarm, in case the door is left slightly open for example and I think all freezers should have a battery-operated mains failure alarm, in case the fuse blows or the trip operates on the ring main. The indicator for satisfactory temperature level is not very obvious with the door shut unless you are quite tall. Quite a lot of the capacity is taken up by the drawers themselves"

"Great freezer. Only drawback is the 'easily reversible door' which took 2 strong men & a workbench of tools 2 hours to swap over. That aside, use it as it is delivered, and I can't fault it."

"The door is not quite straight. The worst problem is the drawers - the are difficult to open and close due to very poor design and build quality. Also, due to the poor design, the usable storage volume is much reduced. The manual tells you to take the drawers out to 'significantly' increase the storage volume of the freezer. Tried this but it is not really practicable. I will not be buying Indesit again."

"If you shop around this freezer comes in quite cheep. The ice cube trays are a bit of a gimmick but so what! The door seal is very good and we have to hold the freezer with one hand while using the other one on the door. Most freezers of this type are not as big so this one scores well here. Would certainly recommend this appliance."

"Overall very happy with this purchase. Only disappointment is the design of the ice trays that cleverly sit in the front handle of the drawers. They have to be filled precisely to the right level or the ice is almost impossible to extract.

Also one of the drawers stuck and the front cracked under the pressure to open it.

Otherwise a great freezer."

"Good functional upright freezer, the only thing I miss is the alarm on the door which sounds if the door is left open.
Large baskets which hold big joints such as legs of pork, easy to open.
I have had some frost build up on the top near the seal"

"Like the fridge, the freezer is a basic, value for money freezer that does what it says it will. We bought it to go with the fridge as an alternative to the 'american' style combos - in which the freezers appear woefully small. We have been very happy with both which we've had for a year now with no problems"

"I purchased the larder fridge and this freezer to match. The freezer does not have the capacity that I hoped for, I am now going to buy a chest freezer to cope with a large family requirements. The top of the freezer has been getting a lot of frost quicker that I had expected. Two drawer fronts soon broke as is the same problem with the larder fridge."
