"Had this machine about 4 weeks now I am very pleased with it ,quiet , washes well, good spin speed, can't fault it. My old machine was a Hoover which I'd had for 21 years, it was still working but my ! was it noisey. I couldn't stand the noise any more hence my new machine.I chose this one because it has the direct drive.So far no complaints"

"Having read favourable reviews, this machine stands out from most other machines even those at higher prices. Have not been disappointed, great machine, wash is excellent and clothes much drier than from our old machine, the 1400 spin speed is definitely worth having.
Also delighted with delivery, good advance notice of when it was being delivered, arrived exactly to time quoted and delivery guys were very efficient.
All need to do now is find a way to remove the large red label on the front saying 7kg wash load."

"It does as it should.. washes clothes and spin dries them very well. it is very quiet compared to my last machine (a Bosch..which I hated.. noisy and a bad smell from the idle drum) . I'm hoping that as it's Korean, it will be as reliable as my Korean cars!"

"We purchased this washing machine after looking at many other makes and models. What eventually attracted us to this machine was the direct drive (i.e, very quiet) and the compact size. Its like a tardis - small on the outside but with a 7kg drum on the inside!! It is very solid and has a 10 year guarantee on the direct drive. We are very pleased with this purchase and love the tune it makes at the start and end of each wash cycle and the fact it even turns itself of. The count down timer is also very handy when planning your day!"

"Very pleased with my new washing machine, It is solidly built with clear controls which are easy to use. Love the large door which makes it easy to put bulky items in the machine. Very quiet to use - particularly the spin - the noisiest part is the intake of water at the beginning of the cycle. Clothes almost dry at the end - even on the 800 rpm spin. Happy to recommend this machine to others. Another good point is that although large capacity, the external dimensions are neat - fitting the space in my kitchen. Other new machines are almost 60 cm deep. I find myself using more of the programmes than with my old machine - bulky, rapid cotton etc - as they are so easy to use. Wash result excellent - my towels ;look like new again."

"This machine is very simple to use and the 7Kg drum is a great size for us. We have replaced our old Bosch integrated machine with this free standing machine. Getting it balanced properly on the back legs proved a bit awkward at first having to keep pulling the machine in and out of the space available in order to get a quieter operation - The machine is solidly built and heavier than others we have had in the past. The childlock facility is great in view of our grandchildren's little fingers being tempted to press the buttons."

"I bought this washing machine 2 weeks ago and so far it's been brilliant. The wash and spin is very quiet compared to my last Bosch. The wash programmes are very easy to use and each programme counts down until the it's finished which is helpful. The only thing that did bother me about this machine is that you can't always select the spin speed for each programes, so I end up having to run a extra faster spin."

"25 years married and looking for my 5th washing machine led me to a massive baffling array to choose from on the internet and in store. Had heard of LG but thought of them as a cheap brand, but read up the technology in-store and could not understand why all the other manufacturers are not picking up on direct drive, as it seemed brilliant. Have had the machine 4 weeks now and its my best friend. It is quiet beyond belief with enough wash programmes & spins for everything I need in my busy life with 3 teenagers. Easy to use and I can read the options on the front of the machine without my glasses! Still waiting for the catch as it seems too good to be true..."

"Having not had my own machine for some time choosing a new one required some research. Due to having a tiny kitchen, size was an important factor (Mainly depth) but quality was equality important. Not having my own machine for some time I have used many other makes including High end industrial machines we have in the building in which I reside. The 'Which' review is only average and refers to nosiy spinning cylces and such - to me this is nonsense as I have thus far found this machine quieter than most and it does a very good job on those cycles I have used so far."

"Excellent machine, very quiet & easty to use - especially like the 30 minute wash where you can choose temp & spin speed to suit. Bulky wash is also very good.

Delivery service is highly recommended, phoned the day before to confirm delivery slot & rang 1/2 hour ahead to confirm would be with us within 30 mins.
